The headquarters of the Royal Commission for Riyadh City hosted a lecture on government-supported savings products on Tuesday. The event was organized by the Communication and Financial Knowledge Center (CFKC) in cooperation with the National Debt Management Center (NDMC) and the Royal Commission for Riyadh City.

According to SPA, the session aimed to promote financial literacy and introduce individuals to available savings options. The lecture focused on the importance of regular saving for long-term growth and financial stability.

Financial concepts discussed included the difference between saving and hoarding, the impact of compound and simple returns, and how financial awareness supports investment decisions. The role of the NDMC was also reviewed, specifically its work in diversifying funding sources to meet Saudi Arabia’s financing needs and ensuring sustainable access to financial markets in line with fiscal policy objectives.

The CFKC is an initiative of the Ministry of Finance designed to raise economic knowledge and empower individuals to make sustainable financial decisions. The NDMC’s efforts to promote a savings culture support the Financial Sector Development Program, a program of Saudi Vision 2030.
