Jeddah hosted the weekly Council of Ministers meeting chaired by Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.

According to SPA, the King expressed appreciation to Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, and Pakistani Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif for their efforts during the Makkah Summit for Joint Defense. This summit emphasized historical relations between the three countries and the strengthening of Islamic solidarity and shared strategic interests.
