Riyadh will host the 12th edition of the Riyadh Economic Forum from October 12 to 14, 2026. The event will present five strategic studies designed to support the goals of Saudi Vision 2030.
According to SPA, Dr. Abdulaziz Al-Anqari, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Riyadh Economic Forum, stated that the forum serves as a model for cooperation between the government, private, and academic sectors through the participation of experts and specialists.
The studies for this session cover traffic congestion challenges in major cities and their economic and social impacts, as well as strategies for the transfer and localization of knowledge among national forces. Other topics include the use of smart agriculture and artificial intelligence to develop the agricultural sector and strengthen food and water security.
The forum will also examine the impact of public laws and policies on sustainable development and the efficiency of the legal and judicial environment. Additionally, it will explore ways to increase the economic and social returns of hosting major global events, specifically Expo 2030 and the 2034 World Cup.
Al-Anqari noted that previous editions of the forum provided specialized studies on developmental, economic, and social issues to support national dialogue and decision-making.
