Dar es Salaam hosted a volunteer medical project that provided open-heart surgeries for children in the United Republic of Tanzania from September 4 to 11, 2026.
According to SPA, the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) implemented the project with the participation of 20 volunteers from various medical specialties.
The volunteer medical team successfully completed 29 open-heart surgeries during the campaign. This project is an extension of Saudi Arabia’s volunteer medical efforts carried out through KSrelief in several countries in need to assist families and individuals with limited incomes.
