Jazan witnessed the signing of a joint cooperation agreement between the Jazan Region Emirate, represented by the Community Partnership Department, and the Ministry of Health branch in the region, represented by the Non-Profit Health Sector Department.
According to SPA, the ceremony was attended by Prince Mohammed bin Abdulaziz bin Mohammed bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Jazan, along with Dr. Awaji bin Qasim Al-Nuaimi, Director General of the Ministry of Health branch in the region, Dr. Khafir bin Zarea Al-Omari, Governor of Sabya, and Nizar bin Maadi Al-Barqi, Governor of Al-Aidabi.
The cooperation agreement aims to unify efforts for beneficiaries and utilize the capabilities of non-profit health associations and institutions to increase service efficiency and activate partnerships between the government and non-profit sectors. Additionally, agreements were signed for the governorates of Sabya and Al-Aidabi to join the Healthy Cities Program to expand the program’s application in Jazan and create environments that support health and quality of life.
