King Salman Auditorium in Riyadh will host the Middle Eastern Robotic Cardiac Surgery Summit on September 16. The event is organized by King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Centre (KFSH) to gather healthcare professionals for discussions on robotic heart surgery advances and clinical applications.
According to SPA, the summit aims to share expertise on using robotic technology to improve surgical practices and patient outcomes. Sessions will focus on risk assessment, evidence-based patient selection, cardiovascular disease treatment, patient education, and collaboration across medical specialties.
The program features expert discussions, scientific presentations, and a hands-on session. Dr. Feras Khaliel, chair of the scientific committee and Deputy Executive Director of the Heart Centre of Excellence at KFSH, stated the conference bridges scientific advances with practical application and explores the technical skills required for the field.
KFSH is ranked 12th globally and first in the Middle East and Africa among the top 250 academic medical centers for 2026. The institution was also named the most valuable healthcare brand in the Kingdom and the Middle East for 2026 by Brand Finance.
