The Al-Haram Mosque and its esplanades in Makkah now feature several information panels presenting the 46th King Abdulaziz International Competition for the memorization, recitation, and exegesis of the Holy Quran.

According to SPA, the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance deployed these displays to highlight the event’s global reach, objectives, and categories. The current edition includes 334 male and female candidates representing 133 countries.

This 46th edition is marked by the first-time inclusion of female candidates and the implementation of a modernized electronic jury system to improve evaluation and result accuracy. The competition offers total prizes valued at 10,260,000 riyals, distributed among 50 winners, with five winners for each of the five categories.
