More than 120,000 beneficiaries and visitors were reached through programs in Riyadh, Makkah, and Northern Borders as King Salman Science Oasis concluded its International Youth Day 2026 activities.
According to SPA, the activities were held under the theme “Our Youth, Our Wealth” and highlighted contributions made during 2025 and 2026 to promote science, technology, innovation, and skill development.
The oasis generated over 60,000 volunteer hours through partnerships with more than 100 organizations across various sectors. These efforts aimed to expand opportunities for young people to develop future-ready skills.
Additionally, the oasis concluded the Medad 2026 program in partnership with the Akwaf Association and the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development. This four-day program included workshops, panel discussions, job interview simulations, and one-on-one career guidance with the help of career counselors, experts, and youth empowerment organizations.
During the closing ceremony, the oasis stated that investing in the capabilities of young people is an investment in the nation’s future and emphasized the shared responsibility of empowering youth.
