Jeddah is preparing to host the Arabian Gulf Cup 2026 “Khaleeji 27” from September 23 to October 6, 2026, and several matches of the Asia Cup 2027, which takes place in Riyadh, Jeddah, and Al-Khobar from January 7 to February 5, 2027.

According to SPA, Jeddah Mayor Ihsan Bafakih met with representatives from the Ministry of Sports to examine the progress of organizational and operational preparations. The coordination meeting focused on the readiness of facilities and services linked to both competitions.
