Al-Kahmous meets Thailand's NACC President to discuss anti-corruption efforts

Riyadh, January 18, 2024, President of the Oversight and Anti-Corruption Authority, Mazen Al-Kahmous, held a meeting with Thailand's National Anti-Corruption Commission (NACC) President, Watcharapol Prasarnrajkit, at the NACC premises in Thailand. This meeting was organized as part of the implementation of the memorandum of understanding signed between the two parties during the official visit of His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, to Thailand in 2022.

Discussions during the meeting encompassed the bilateral relations between Saudi Arabia and Thailand, touching upon various topics of mutual interest related to the prevention and combating of corruption. Both officials explored opportunities for strengthening cooperation, particularly in addressing cross-border crimes associated with corruption. The meeting also aimed at fostering the exchange of relevant expertise in the field of anti-corruption efforts between the two nations. This collaboration underscores the commitment of both Saudi Arabia and Thailand to promoting transparency and integrity in their respective jurisdictions.
