Aroya Cruise, Saudi's inaugural cruise line, unveils its first ship

Jeddah, December 29, 2023, The inaugural cruise line in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, "Aroya Cruise," operated under the auspices of the wholly-owned "Saudi Cruise Company" by the Public Investment Fund, has unveiled its first cruise ship. Spanning an impressive 335 meters, the ship boasts 19 diverse decks and 1,682 cabins featuring innovative designs. Currently undergoing a comprehensive modernization process tailored to Arab preferences, the vessel aims to provide an exceptional experience for holidaymakers and vacationers in the region.

Launched in 2023, "Aroya Cruise" is poised to fulfill the aspirations of Arab markets, emphasizing distinctive experiences for travelers. From cutting-edge cabin and suite designs to event programs catering to various age groups, the cruise line places a premium on delivering unparalleled experiences. Moreover, meticulous attention is paid to the quality of food and beverages served during cruises, reflecting the essence of innovation and authentic Arab hospitality synonymous with Saudi Arabia.

Speaking on the occasion, the CEO of Saudi Cruise, Lars Claassen, expressed pride in the announcement, characterizing it as a significant milestone for Saudi Cruise. He highlighted that this achievement is part of the company's ongoing efforts to establish a leading position in the burgeoning field of tourist cruises in Saudi Arabia.

The "Aroya Cruise" ship is slated to embark on its maiden voyage from the city of Jeddah in 2024, marking a historic moment for the Kingdom as it ventures into the burgeoning world of cruise tourism.
