Bahri Logistics, a global leader in logistics and transportation, has entered into a three-year international freight forwarding service agreement with Saudi Arabia Railways (SAR). SAR is the owner and operator of the railway networks in Saudi Arabia, playing a pivotal role in building an integrated transportation system. Under the agreement, Bahri Logistics will serve as SAR's primary freight forwarding service provider for both imports and exports.
The agreement was signed by Eng. Soror Basalom, Bahri Logistics President, and Eng. Salah bin Abdullah Al-Omair, Vice President for Shared Services at SAR, during a ceremony held at SAR headquarters in Riyadh.
Eng. Basalom expressed pride in partnering with SAR, a crucial national company that has played a significant role in shaping Saudi Arabia's transportation landscape. He emphasized Bahri Logistics' commitment to delivering seamless freight forwarding services to SAR and its customers, leveraging the company's expertise gained over several decades.
Eng. Al-Omair highlighted SAR's ongoing efforts to develop solutions and enhance the efficiency of railway transportation, aiming to provide exceptional services across the kingdom's railway networks. He expressed optimism about investing in the partnership to elevate SAR services in the coming years, contributing to the growth of the railway sector.
