Al-Sayahid, January 1, 2024, The Canadian Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Jean-Philippe Linteau, visited the Ministry of Interior's "Security Oasis" exhibition at the King Abdulaziz Camel Festival in Al-Sayahid, north of Riyadh Region. The exhibition ran until the end of December 2023.
During his visit, Ambassador Linteau toured the pavilions and security sectors, gaining insights into the Ministry's efforts to maintain security. He was briefed on key development projects, technology investments, and the use of artificial intelligence and digital solutions to uphold public safety. The ambassador also learned about the "Absher" platform, which plays a crucial role in enhancing traffic safety and explored the technologies and mechanisms employed in the security and environmental fields, including the handling of weapons. The visit aimed to foster understanding and collaboration in the field of security between Saudi Arabia and Canada.
