Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman leads Cabinet session in Jeddah.

Jeddah, March 27, 2024, On Tuesday, His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, presided over a Cabinet session held in Jeddah. The session encompassed discussions on various national and international matters.

At the outset of the session, HRH the Crown Prince briefed the Cabinet on a phone call he received from the President of Germany and the outcomes of his meeting with the Prime Minister of Kuwait. Furthermore, he shared details of his discussions with the Secretary of State of the United States of America.

During the session, the Cabinet examined the latest developments on regional and international fronts. It also highlighted collaborative efforts undertaken by the Kingdom, alongside regional and global partners, to address the humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip. The Cabinet expressed appreciation for the United Nations Security Council's resolution calling for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza during Ramadan.

Following the session, Minister of Media Salman bin Yousef Al-Dossary stated that the Cabinet also discussed domestic affairs, performance indicators in key sectors, and their contributions to national goals, aiming at progress, prosperity, and continued development in all aspects.

The Cabinet reiterated its ongoing support for national initiatives aimed at providing housing for needy families in the Kingdom, including efforts under the "Jood Regions" campaign. It also acknowledged the annual day of the Saudi Green Initiative, demonstrating the Kingdom's commitment to environmental issues and climate action.

The Cabinet made several decisions, including authorizing ministers to discuss and sign memorandums of understanding in various fields with Tajikistan, Turkey, Pakistan, and other countries. It also approved the Kingdom's accession to the International Labour Organization's Convention on Occupational Safety and Health and endorsed cooperation agreements in areas such as space activities, technical training, traditional arts, and more.

Lastly, the Cabinet affirmed the state's continued support for seasonal laborers participating in the Hadi and Adahi Project for the Hajj Season 1445 AH by bearing their entry visa fees.
