Riyadh, February 03, 2024, The Minister of Defense, Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, who serves as the Chairman of the Council of Defense Ministers of the member states of the Islamic Military Counter Terrorism Coalition (IMCTC), held a meeting today with Sheikh Fahad Yusuf Al Sabah, the Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defense, and Acting Minister of Interior of Kuwait. This encounter took place on the sidelines of the second assembly of the Council of Defense Ministers of the IMCTC member states in Riyadh, emphasizing the enduring relations and ties between Saudi Arabia and Kuwait.
The discussions during the meeting focused on the outlined agenda items, exploring avenues to strengthen military and defense cooperation. The participants also delved into the latest regional and international developments of shared concern. Chief of the General Staff of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, General Fayyadh bin Hamed Al-Ruwaili, and Director General of the Office of the Minister of Defense, Hisham bin Abdulaziz bin Saif, attended the meeting, alongside senior Kuwaiti officials.
