Georgian Foreign Minister visits Saudi National Museum in Riyadh

Riyadh, January 24, 2024, Georgian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ilia Darchiashvili, undertook a visit today to the Saudi National Museum located within the King Abdulaziz Historical Center in Riyadh. During his visit, Darchiashvili had the opportunity to explore the museum's section dedicated to showcasing the developmental phases of the Arabian Peninsula, as well as the three-stage history of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The Georgian minister took a comprehensive tour of the museum, observing the various collections and exhibits that highlight the cultural richness of Islamic civilization and its wealth of knowledge. Impressed by the displays, Darchiashvili expressed his admiration for the National Museum and conveyed appreciation for the dedicated efforts made by the museum staff in preserving the history and heritage of the Kingdom.

This cultural exchange and engagement underscore the importance of fostering understanding and appreciation for the historical and cultural aspects of different nations.
