Governor Faisal welcomes Sri Lankan Ambassador Amza in Riyadh meeting

Riyadh, January 2, 2024, In a formal meeting at his office, Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, the Governor of the Riyadh Region, welcomed Ambassador Pakeer Mohideen Amza of Sri Lanka to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The ambassador paid a courtesy visit to bid farewell to the governor as he concludes his tenure representing his country in the Kingdom.

During the meeting, Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz expressed his gratitude to Ambassador Amza for his dedicated efforts and contributions during his term as Sri Lanka's ambassador to Saudi Arabia. The governor conveyed his appreciation for the diplomatic relations fostered and collaborative initiatives undertaken between the two nations under Ambassador Amza's tenure.

In wishing Ambassador Amza continued success in his future endeavors, the governor underscored the significance of strong bilateral ties between Saudi Arabia and Sri Lanka. The meeting served as an opportunity to acknowledge the ambassador's diplomatic service and to strengthen the bond of friendship between the two countries.
