Jadidat Arar land port receives 28,000 Umrah performers from Iraq

Arar, January 03, 2024, Since February 1, the Jadidat Arar land port in the Northern Border Region has welcomed over 28,000 Umrah pilgrims from the Republic of Iraq. The Saudi Press Agency (SPA) has meticulously documented the array of services tailored for Iraqi Umrah pilgrims at the Jadidat Arar land port, underscoring the collaborative efforts of diverse sectors committed to catering to the needs of Umrah performers. Among the amenities provided are prayer rooms, hospitality lounges, a dedicated medical emergency section, and more, all managed by volunteers from governmental and private entities in the Northern Borders Region.

In statements to SPA, Iraqi Umrah pilgrims expressed their gratitude to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. They conveyed their appreciation for the services and special attention rendered by the involved agencies, commending the exceptional quality of services experienced at the Jadidat Arar land port.
