Manama, January 31, 2023, Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Secretary-General Jassem Mohamed Albudaiwi was received by King Hamad bin Issa Al Khalifa of the Kingdom of Bahrain today at Al Safriyah Palace.
The Bahraini King highlighted at the conference the GCC's groundbreaking accomplishments in a number of areas of cooperative effort among Gulf nations since its founding.
The King also emphasized the GCC's eminent standing in the local, regional, and global spheres as well as its enormous contributions to bolstering the security of the region and the ties of fraternity among its member states.
Albudaiwi recognized Bahrain's crucial function under King Hamad's direction as well as its initiatives to strengthen collaboration amongst GCC members.
