KSrelief Conducts Volunteer Medical Project for Urology Surgeries in Yemen's Socotra Archipelago

Socotra, Yemen, December 15, 2023, In a commendable effort to extend humanitarian aid, the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) recently executed a volunteer medical project focusing on urology surgeries in the Socotra Archipelago governorate of Yemen. The initiative, which took place from December 10 to 16, saw a dedicated team of eight volunteers, each bringing expertise in various medical specialties.

Since the commencement of the campaign, the volunteers provided comprehensive examinations to 260 patients, catering to the medical needs of the local population. Notably, the project achieved success with the completion of 10 urology surgeries, bringing relief to individuals in need. Additionally, 45 medications were distributed, and 38 patients benefited from X-ray services, further emphasizing the holistic approach of the initiative.

This undertaking aligns with KSrelief's ongoing commitment to volunteer medical projects across various specialties. The primary objective is to offer crucial assistance to low-income individuals and families in countries facing challenging circumstances. By extending their reach to areas in need, KSrelief continues to make a meaningful impact on the lives of those requiring medical attention, exemplifying the organization's dedication to humanitarian causes.
