KSrelief distributes 400 food baskets in Kabul, aiding 2,400 individuals

Kabul, January 19, 2024, The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) has undertaken a recent initiative to distribute 400 food baskets in Kabul, providing assistance to approximately 2,400 individuals belonging to the affected and needy groups in Afghanistan. This humanitarian effort, conducted in collaboration with the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), specifically targets Afghans who have returned to their country from Pakistan.

The project's primary objective is to contribute to food security in Afghanistan, addressing the essential needs of vulnerable populations affected by displacement and other challenges. The collaborative endeavor is an extension of the ongoing relief efforts led by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia through its humanitarian center, KSrelief.

Such initiatives underscore Saudi Arabia's commitment to supporting humanitarian causes and providing assistance to those in need, particularly in regions facing complex humanitarian challenges. The collaboration with international organizations like the OIC enhances the effectiveness and reach of these humanitarian efforts, contributing to the well-being of communities affected by crises.
