KSrelief implements sixth phase of Saudi volunteer program in Türkiye

Hatay, February 9, 2024, The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) has initiated the sixth phase of the Saudi Volunteer Life Program in the cities of Qaraqan and Reyhanli, situated in Hatay province, Türkiye, aimed at providing assistance to individuals impacted by the earthquake.

Throughout the campaign, the volunteer medical team from KSrelief delivered a total of 782 services, catering to the needs of 476 individuals. These services encompassed a range of medical interventions including surgeries, specialized clinics, provision of medicines, medical examinations, and access to radiology facilities. Notably, 63 percent of the beneficiaries were male while 37 percent were female, with 63 percent being refugees and 37 percent local residents.

This aid initiative forms a crucial component of the relief and humanitarian efforts undertaken by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia through KSrelief, aimed at supporting individuals affected by earthquakes in both Syria and Türkiye.
