In a commendable effort, the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center's (KSrelief) Masam Project effectively cleared 758 mines in Yemen from November 25th to December 1st, 2023. This recent operation included dismantling 22 anti-personnel mines, 115 anti-tank mines, 600 unexploded ordnance, and 21 explosive devices.

Since its inception, the Masam Project has successfully dismantled an impressive total of 423,794 mines. The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, through KSrelief, remains steadfast in its commitment to removing these hazardous mines from Yemeni lands, a crucial mission aimed at preventing further tragedies involving innocent children, women, and the elderly.
