Riyadh, September 09, 2023, The Ministry of Culture will host the third edition of the "National Cultural Awards" initiative's closing ceremony this evening under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, which honors the cultural accomplishments of people, groups, and institutions from various sectors. In 16 categories, the ministry will recognize the winners. The International Cultural Excellence Award, given to organizations in the nonprofit and private sectors, the Award for Businesswomen and Men Who Support Cultural Activity, the Award for Cultural Institutions, and the Cultural Personality of the Year Award are the five main honors. The remaining 11 awards are granted in the categories of literature, national heritage, visual arts, architecture and design, culinary arts, publishing, translation, fashion, music, theater, and performing arts.
