Prince Sultan Armed Forces Hospital's Seasonal Medical Center serves Prophet's Mosque visitors

Madinah, March 31, 2024, The Seasonal Medical Center at Prince Sultan Armed Forces Hospital in Madinah has been diligently providing medical and emergency services to both visitors and citizens in the western courtyards of the Prophet's Mosque. As of Saturday, the center has recorded a total of 12,159 cases benefiting from its services, with 4,906 cases involving women and 7,253 involving men. In addition, 37 cases were referred to hospitals under the Ministry of Health for further treatment.

These cases have been categorized into various types of medical assistance, including 167 bandaging cases, 11,213 outpatient cases, 83 respiratory therapy cases, and 696 emergency cases. This comprehensive range of services reflects the center's commitment to addressing diverse medical needs effectively.

To support its operations, the center is well-equipped with eight triage points and six primary clinics, which can be expanded to eight clinics as needed. It also boasts 18 emergency observation beds, two mobile medical clinic vehicles each with six observation beds, five emergency beds, and a dedicated resuscitation bed.

Moreover, the center features 23 tents, each serving specific purposes such as emergency care with nine beds, sunstroke treatment with two beds, therapeutic nutrition and health education, bandaging services, pharmacy and laboratory facilities, and a tent dedicated to religious enrichment.

These statistics and facilities underscore the Seasonal Medical Center's crucial role in ensuring the well-being and health of pilgrims and visitors to the Prophet's Mosque, contributing significantly to the overall comfort and safety of those in the area.
