SACM in US hosts Indiana University students for cultural exchange

Washington, March 26, 2024, Yesterday, the Saudi Arabian Cultural Mission (SACM) in the US welcomed a delegation of students from Indiana University Bloomington, as part of the Arabic Language Program aimed at fostering communication and the exchange of ideas among diverse cultures.

The delegation was warmly received by Dr. Fawzi Bukhari, the Cultural Attaché at Saudi Arabia’s embassy in Washington. During their visit, the students had the opportunity to explore the King Abdullah Cultural Hall and learn about the exhibits showcasing various aspects of Saudi culture.

The students were particularly impressed by the richness of the Saudi identity reflected in the exhibits, including original Saudi fashion, culinary delights, architectural marvels, traditional coffee-making tools, and transformative projects like "NEOM" and "The Line" envisioned under the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.

Expressing their admiration, the delegation members commended Saudi Arabia's cultural initiatives and its pivotal role in fostering dialogue and mutual understanding among different peoples. The visit served as an enriching experience for the students, further strengthening cultural ties and promoting cross-cultural appreciation and cooperation.
