Saudi Cultural Attaché Pavilion makes impact at Tunis Book Fair with Journalism workshop

Tunis, April 25, 2024, The Saudi Cultural Attaché Pavilion made a significant impact at the 38th Tunis International Book Fair with its workshop on Journalism and Transformation. This event attracted numerous intellectuals, media experts, and writers from Saudi Arabia and Tunisia, creating a platform for insightful discussions and knowledge exchange.

At the core of the workshop was the urgent need to address the challenges confronting traditional Arab media. Specifically, the focus was on revitalizing media discourse and content to adapt to evolving trends, especially with the widespread use of social media platforms and the changing preferences of the audience.

The workshop's agenda reflected a collaborative effort between the Saudi cultural attaché in Tunis and the Saudi Literature, Publishing, and Translation Commission. Together, they curated a cultural program that not only engaged participants but also contributed to the broader dialogue on media innovation and adaptation in the Arab world.

By bringing together experts and practitioners in journalism and media, the workshop served as a catalyst for exploring strategies to ensure the relevance and sustainability of Arab media amidst rapid technological advancements and shifting audience dynamics.
