TGA hosts inaugural forum for ship owners under Rumaih's patronage

Riyadh, April 27, 2024, Under the esteemed patronage of the Acting President of the Transport General Authority (TGA) Rumaih bin Mohammed Al-Rumaih, the authority is set to host the inaugural annual forum for ship owners and operators in the Kingdom. Scheduled to take place in Al-Khobar Governorate on April 28, this forum marks a significant step towards fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing within the maritime sector.

According to a press release issued by TGA, the primary objective of the forum is to facilitate dialogue and cooperation among key stakeholders in the Kingdom's shipping industry. Over 85 senior specialists from various sectors within the maritime domain are expected to participate in this groundbreaking event.

The forum will serve as a platform for exchanging technical expertise and sharing industry-related experiences among leaders and deputies of major companies in the sector. It is designed to cover a wide array of pivotal topics pertinent to the maritime industry, including discussions on marine conservation, initiatives for the professional development of seafarers, and the integration of cutting-edge technologies in ship operations.
