Tuwaiq Academy Students Win 9 Gold Medals and One Silver at ‘ITEX 2024’




Tuwaiq Academy rewarded prizes to 19 competing students from the International Inventions, Innovations, Technology Competition and Exhibition which took place in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia - ITEX 2024. Nine gold, one silver, and eleven excellent prizes were the rewards.


The winners thanked King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud for his help in the development of local talent and increasing Saudi Arabia's ability to compete internationally.


In order to present ten creative ideas created by 19 students in areas including automation, information technology, education, healthcare, and more, Tuwaiq Academy partnered with Misk Schools and the Ministry of Education.




May 19, 2024, SP; Riyadh, Saudi Arabia Nineteen students competed for unique scientific and technology projects, and Tuwaiq Academy recognized their efforts with eleven special prizes, nine gold medals, and one silver medal.


They had gone to participate in the International Inventions, Innovations, Technology Competition, and Exhibition 2024 being held in Kuala Lumpur, the capital of Malaysia, where the tragedy struck.


After months of working on the projects, the students of Tuwaiq Academy did wonders by using their imagination and creativity in such areas as automation and manufacturing, information and communication technology, materials science, education, environment, healthcare, and home and office products.




The students who won conveyed their appreciation to King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, for their steadfast support of national talents and initiatives to increase their competitiveness in global arenas.They honored themselves with their accomplishment for the country.


Tuwaiq Academy presented 10 creative ideas created by 19 students in association with Misk Schools and the Ministry of Education. These ideas were showcased in ITEX 2024.


It is this university where students developed highly advanced concepts and technology solutions. The first areas in which they registered patents were automation and manufacturing, ICT (information and communication technology), materials research, education, healthcare, the environment, and home and office items.


Tuwaiq Academy also took part in the exhibition contests, where a range of international projects were judged. The closing ceremony involved the awarding of winners.


Through participation in the Tuwaiq Academy tent at the celebrations that took place after the exhibition, the students took the opportunity to show their projects to attendants, investors, and innovation lovers from various technical fields.


Besides, the Saudi Ambassador to Malaysia, Mesaad bin Ibrahim Al-Sulaim, and the Cultural Attaché of the Saudi Embassy in Malaysia, Dr. Fahd Al-Shammari, also visited the academy's pavilion.



Tuwaiq Academy works to build and empower national capabilities to better represent the Kingdom in key regional and international contests.


This is done partly through a number of intensive camps and educational programs that aim to endow the students with the abilities needed for making innovative and promising projects in a number of high-tech industries.
