Makkah hosted 334 participants from 133 countries for the 46th session of the King Abdulaziz International Competition for the Memorization, Recitation, and Interpretation of the Holy Quran.
According to SPA, Dr. Shoaib Mohammed Al-Azhari, founder of the Specialized Recitations Center and member of local judging committees in Bangladesh, praised the high level of the event and the efforts of the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance.
Al-Azhari described the competition as the pearl of Quranic competitions globally, noting that the services provided to participants reflect special attention to the people of the Quran. He highlighted the international standing of the event through the presence of selected memorizers from various nations.
