The National Platform for Charitable Work (Ehsan) will host the 5th National Campaign for Charitable Work starting Friday, March 7, following approval from Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.
According to SPA, donations for the campaign will continue throughout Ramadan until the end of the month to maximize the impact of charitable giving. The initiative provides citizens and residents opportunities to participate in charitable acts and strengthen community solidarity.
Majid Al-Kassabi, Chairman of the Ehsan Platform’s Supervisory Committee, noted that the platform was established under a Royal decree in 2021. He stated that the 2024 campaign received over SAR 1.8 billion in donations through 15 million transactions. Previous editions saw the third campaign surpass SAR 760 million, while the first and second editions gathered over SAR 750 million and more than SAR 800 million, respectively.
