Three overland routes from Jeddah, Madinah, and Tabuk provide visitors to AlUla the opportunity to explore the Kingdom’s natural and cultural landscapes. These paths cross the Red Sea coast, volcanic terrain, and expansive desert landscapes.

The route from Jeddah follows the Red Sea shoreline before moving east toward the oasis. The path from Madinah connects via Khaybar, covering approximately 383 kilometers in four to five hours, combining geological landscapes and oasis culture. The third route from Tabuk spans 295 kilometers through northern desert landscapes, taking around four hours.
