Nine specific locations are prohibited for mobile trader activity to ensure safety, maintain traffic flow, and protect public facilities. These regulations aim to enhance the quality of life within cities.
According to SPA, Ministry Spokesperson Mohammed Al-Rasasmeh stated that the restricted areas include road intersections, central road medians, and parking spaces for persons with disabilities. The prohibition also covers entrances and exits of main roads, areas adjacent to traffic lights, public parking areas, bicycle lanes, and roads with heavy traffic.
Additionally, locations designated for ambulance services, civil defense, traffic, and police are off-limits for this activity.
The ministry has requested the public to report violations or municipal observations via the Balady application or the unified number 940 to ensure the safety of public facilities and roads.
