Al Makhwah has seen the completion of the development and improvement of the Al Qufayl neighborhood pedestrian walkway, sports fields, and green spaces across an area of approximately 27,000 square meters.
According to SPA, the project provides a 500-meter pedestrian walkway and a separate 500-meter track for bicycles and scooters, alongside 4,000 square meters of sidewalks and access paths.
The sports section features 3,300 square meters of facilities, including a synthetic turf football pitch and a volleyball court equipped with floodlights. Green spaces cover more than 8,000 square meters and include over 70 planted trees.
Additional features include decorative lighting, separate restrooms, and 6,000 square meters of perimeter walls improved with natural stone. A 120-meter water channel was also constructed to guide rainwater and protect facilities.
The project was implemented by Al Makhwah Municipality to expand public and green spaces and increase sports and recreational facilities.
