Makkah hosted the signing of a memorandum of understanding on Islamic affairs between the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance and the National Commission on Muslim Filipinos.
According to SPA, the agreement was signed by Dr. Awad bin Sabti Al-Anazi, Deputy Minister for Islamic Affairs, representing Minister Sheikh Dr. Abdullatif bin Abdulaziz Al-Sheikh, and Sabudin Abdulrahim, Minister of the National Commission on Muslim Filipinos.
The MoU aims to strengthen cooperation in Islamic affairs, introduce the values of Islam, and clarify its perspective on contemporary issues.
