Makkah hosted 250 men and women from 23 countries across Europe and Asia as part of the second batch of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Umrah and Visit Program.
According to SPA, the program is implemented by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance. Guests expressed appreciation for the reception, care, and services provided upon their arrival in Saudi Arabia and after completing their Umrah rituals.
Selima Bowell from the United Kingdom stated that praying in the Grand Mosque and completing Umrah rituals demonstrated the equality and brotherhood of Islam, noting that Muslims from various nationalities and cultures gathered in Ihram. Clayton Mali from Albania described the emotional experience of seeing the Holy Kaaba for the first time, while Altai Kerimov from Bulgaria praised the organization of transportation, accommodation, and religious guidance.
The guests thanked King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud for the reception. They also thanked the Minister of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance and Director General of the program, Sheikh Abdul Latif bin Abdulaziz Al-Sheikh, for the coordination of resources and cultural and academic visits.
