According to SPA, Sukkari, rutab, and muftal date varieties were offered during the initial days of the festival. Sukkari dates accounted for approximately 60 percent of sales during the first ten days. Other varieties, including Khalas, Shishi, Sagai, Medjool, and Barhi, are expected to enter the market in the coming days.
Executive Director of the festival Fahad Al-Rashid stated that date auctions are held daily starting at 18:30. The festival features a date market alongside sections for fruits, vegetables, and products from producing families, as well as entertainment programs.
