Riyadh is the site of a new memorandum of understanding signed between the Federation of Saudi Chambers and the Bankruptcy Commission (Isar) to support an early warning initiative. The agreement aims to increase the readiness of private sector establishments to monitor financial distress indicators and address them in early stages to improve business environment efficiency and sustainability.

According to SPA, the MoU focuses on expanding cooperation to raise awareness of the bankruptcy system and its procedures. This includes preparing research, studies, and opinion polls, as well as developing awareness programs and exchanging expertise.

The signing was represented by the Secretary General of the Federation of Saudi Chambers, Engineer Sultan bin Mohammed Al-Musallam, and the Secretary General of the Bankruptcy Commission (Isar), Abdullah bin Saad Al-Mughira. The initiative intends to help establishments take appropriate measures before financial distress worsens to preserve their economic value.

The partnership utilizes the network of chambers of commerce to reach private sector establishments across various regions of the Kingdom. The bankruptcy system is positioned as a regulatory tool to support business sustainability and investor confidence in line with Saudi Vision 2030 goals.
