Djeddah is the site of several royal orders issued by King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud on August 13, 2026.
According to SPA, the Council of Ministers will be reconstituted under the presidency of Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, with its current members. This follows previous royal orders stating the Council of Ministers’ mandate must not exceed four years before being reconstituted by royal order.
The orders include the appointment of Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman bin Abdulaziz as chairman of the board of the Local Content and Government Procurement Authority, following the removal of Bandar Alkhorayef from the position.
Additionally, Mazen Al-Sudairi has been appointed as chairman of the Capital Market Authority with the rank of minister, replacing Mohammed ElKuwaiz.
