Taiz Prosthetics Center serves 808 beneficiaries in July

Taiz saw 808 amputee beneficiaries from the Yemeni people receive medical services during July 2026 through the Prosthetics and Rehabilitation Center.

According to SPA, the project is supported by the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief). A total of 2,789 services were provided during the month.

Beneficiaries included 60% men and 40% women. Residents accounted for 82% of the recipients, while displaced persons made up 18%.

The provided services consisted of specialized consultations, functional rehabilitation sessions, and the maintenance, measurement, and provision of prostheses. This project is part of humanitarian actions by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, represented by KSrelief, to support the health sector and alleviate the suffering of the Yemeni people.
