Two hundred and fifty male and female Umrah performers from 23 countries across Europe and Asia left Madinah on Monday for Makkah to perform Umrah rituals.
According to SPA, the group is part of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques’ Guests Program for Umrah and Visit, which is implemented by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance.
The guests visited the Prophet’s Mosque to greet the Prophet Muhammad and his two companions, and prayed at Al-Rawdah Al-Sharifah. Their itinerary included visits to Jabal Uhud, Quba Mosque, the King Fahd Glorious Quran Printing Complex, and the International Fair and Museum of the Prophet’s Biography and Islamic Civilization.
The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance provided services and care to facilitate the visit and religious rites. The guests also took part in religious and cultural programs during their stay in Madinah.
