Riyadh will host the fourth annual international conference organized by the King Salman Global Academy for the Arabic Language (KSGAAL) in the first half of October 2025. The two-day event is titled “Global Lexicographical Industry: Experiences, Efforts, and Prospect”.
According to SPA, the conference will be held under the patronage of Minister of Culture and Chairman of the Academy’s Board of Trustees Prince Bader bin Abdullah bin Farhan.
KSGAAL Secretary-General Dr. Abdullah bin Saleh Al-Washmi stated that the event aims to review successful lexicography experiences and explore ways to develop the field through artificial intelligence and modern technologies. He noted that the conference serves as a step to enhance cooperation between the academy, linguistic bodies, experts, and specialists.
Al-Washmi further explained that the initiative addresses challenges facing the lexicographical industry and explores technological solutions to develop dictionaries and enhance their global presence, supporting the Kingdom’s role in serving the Arabic language.
