Riyadh is the site of the launch of Thaqafati, a unified digital platform for the cultural sector designed to provide streamlined access to cultural services through a single digital portal.
According to SPA, the announcement was made during the Ministry of Culture’s participation in the LEAP 2026 conference. Assistant Minister of Culture Rakan Altouq delivered a speech on behalf of Minister of Culture Prince Bader bin Abdullah bin Farhan to celebrate the launch.
Altouq stated that the platform integrates various cultural sectors into a cohesive ecosystem to standardize procedures, optimize operational efficiency, and boost service quality. He noted that digital accessibility accelerates sector growth and broadens cultural engagement across society.
The platform aligns with Saudi Vision 2030 digital transformation goals, acting as a national digital gateway to showcase Saudi culture both internationally and locally to drive a sustainable and inclusive cultural future.
