Five falcons were sold for a total of 223,000 riyals during the fifth night of the International Falcon Breeding Farms Auction 2026. The event is held at the National Falcon Center in Mulham, north of Riyadh.
According to SPA, the auction involves leading falcon breeding farms from around the world and will continue until August 25. The event has seen attendance from falconers and visitors interested in this heritage.
The night began with a Pure Gyr chick from a farm in Slovenia, which sold for 61,000 riyals after starting at 50,000 riyals. Two Gyr Peregrine chicks from Spain followed, selling for 40,000 riyals and 30,000 riyals respectively. A Tri-color Gyr chick from Canada sold for 42,000 riyals, and a Gyr Saker chick from Ireland sold for 50,000 riyals.
