A 40 million riyal contract for sustainable forest management projects has been signed between the National Center for Vegetation Cover Development and Combating Desertification and the Murooj Charitable Foundation.
According to SPA, the signing was sponsored by the Deputy Minister of Environment, Water and Agriculture, Engineer Mansour bin Hilal Al-Mushaiti. This represents the first national project of its kind aimed at enhancing forest sustainability and preserving environmental, economic, and social values.
