Djibouti is the site of a vocational crafts project designed to empower orphans through a joint cooperation agreement signed in Riyadh.
According to SPA, the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) signed the agreement with the Charitable Association for Orphans Care in Eastern Region (Benaa) at its headquarters.
The initiative directly benefits 328 individuals and provides indirect support to 1,900 people. The program includes theoretical and applied vocational training in refrigeration and air conditioning, electrical installation, and plumbing to meet local labor market demands.
Participating orphans will receive monthly financial assistance to reduce economic pressure on foster households and mitigate socioeconomic risks linked to financial distress, which aims to strengthen family stability.
