A 40 million riyal agreement for sustainable forest management projects has been signed between the National Center for Vegetation Cover Development and Combating Desertification (NCVC) and the Morooj non-profit foundation.
According to SPA, the signing was sponsored by the Vice Minister of Environment, Water and Agriculture, Mansour Al-Mushaiti. This represents the first national project of its kind designed to strengthen forest sustainability and preserve environmental, economic, and social values while supporting national environmental objectives through the non-profit sector.
