More than 87 government entities within the digital certification system currently utilize the Ibram platform for digital signing and sealing.

The Saudi Data and AI Authority (SDAIA) provided the platform to enable government agencies and their employees to sign and verify documents digitally in a secure and instantaneous manner, according to SPA.

The platform offers two primary services: the digital seal and the digital signature. The digital seal is a digital certificate issued to government agencies to prove the identity of the issuing entity and ensure the legal value and integrity of the document. The digital signature is a digital certificate for government employees that verifies the signer’s identity and confirms their agreement to the document content.

SDAIA launched Ibram to provide a reliable digital environment for electronic transactions and improve document completion efficiency. This initiative is part of efforts to provide government agencies with digital solutions based on modern technologies to achieve Saudi Vision 2030 goals for a sustainable digital economy and an effective government system.
