Baish landscapes transform after heavy rains

Baish has seen its natural and agricultural landscapes transformed following heavy rains in recent days, which sent water through valleys, plains, and farmland while expanding green cover.

According to SPA, the rainfall has caused several valleys to flow, including Wadi Qura, a tributary of Wadi Baish. Water has spread across low-lying areas and vast agricultural fields, renewing the vegetation that characterizes large parts of the governorate.

The rain-soaked scenes have attracted residents, visitors, and photography enthusiasts during the summer holiday. Water has been observed stretching between farms and green spaces along both sides of the road at the entrance to Baish.

These landscapes have become gathering points for family outings. The rainy weather has added natural scenes to the tourism attractions of Jazan, shaped by the flat agricultural landscape of Baish. The rains replenish the lands and renew vegetation in an environment associated with farming and fertile plains.
