Israeli forces enter Quneitra countryside in southern Syria

The town of Al-Rafid in the Quneitra countryside of southern Syria was entered by an Israeli military force consisting of six military vehicles. The force inspected several houses and passersby, with no reports of arrests.

According to SPA, this incident occurred one day after an Israeli military column of eight vehicles entered the village of Jumla and the Hawd al-Yarmouk area in the western Daraa countryside up to the village of Saisoun. During that operation, forces were stationed near residential areas while Israeli aircraft flew extensively over the region.

These actions are described as repeated incursions and raid operations in southern Syria that violate the 1974 force separation agreement. Syria has called upon the international community to take action to stop these violations and compel the forces to withdraw completely from its territories.
